Awareness Building Programme

The mothers of the learners in the PPE learning centre and the women of the Revolving Loan Programs at Kolorao,  Satkira, Monirampur and Abhoynagar of Jessore districts attend monthly discussion meetings to build up their awareness of many topics, including:
  • general health and nutrition
  • reproductive health and family planning
  • the oppression of children and women (by trafficking and acid throwing)
  • common laws
  • crime
  • drug abuse
  • environmental degradation
  • arsenic mitigation and safe drinking water
  • arsenic induced cancer
  • tuberculosis and the TB follow up program
