Abdul Awall

Abdul Awall is 18 and has five brothers and sisters.  He is a farmer.  Now that he knows more, he is trying to improve the life of his family.  He has started a business as a carpenter, collecting timber and making chairs and boats.  He keeps accounts for the business and says that he used to earn Tk.700-800 per month whereas now it isTk. 1500-2000.  Hie teaches his five nieces and nephews some simple literacy and numeracy.  He has read three or four books from the mini-library.
